Vineyards: Located in the heart of the Languedoc, near the Medievale Cité of Carcassonne and also the Canal du Midi, the vineyards of Pujol-Izard are worked in the respect of deep family traditions for the result of authentic cuvées.

Vinification: Harvest mechanical with sorting. Traditional vinification where varietals are individually fermented with controlled temperatures. Ageing and blending in April or May.
Land: «Resclause Valley» is a sedimentary plain with clay-limestone deep soils but also sometimes dirty. (Our cellar located in the val of the Resclause has suffered in 1999 the whims of the watercourse and the weather).
Characteristics: Creation around of the complementarity of the grape varieties used. Complexity of fruit, roundness, freshness, flexible tannins but also with a certain concentration... it is close to the concept of an Appellation wine however the land doesn’t have this classification.
